Our Story

Welcome to ROC Adventure

We’re Chris Thomas and Janine Price, founders of ROC Adventure, a Welsh outdoor company built from our shared passion for the mountains, coastline and wild landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Eryri (Snowdonia) and the Welsh Coast.

We believe the outdoors is for everyone. Through guided walks, adventure journeys, skills training and team challenges, we help people connect with nature, build confidence and create memories that last a lifetime.

Where ROC Adventure Began

ROC Adventure grew from our belief that time outdoors can transform a person, building resilience, easing stress, strengthening relationships and sparking the spirit of adventure.

After years of exploring Wales on foot, from steep ridges to quiet valleys and hidden coastal paths, we knew we wanted to share these environments with others. We started ROC Adventure to offer outdoor experiences that are safe, inclusive, meaningful and unforgettable.

Our goal is simple:

To help people experience Wales in a way that feels empowering, authentic and deeply connected to nature.

How We Work

At ROC Adventure, every experience is designed to be:

  • Welcoming and inclusive for all abilities
  • Tailored to pace, needs and confidence
  • Focused on enjoyment as much as achievement
  • Grounded in respect for the environment
  • Delivered by qualified and caring leaders

We’re here for people who want a challenge and for those who simply want space to breathe. Every individual or team arrives with their own goals and we take pride in shaping journeys that meet them where they are.

What Drives Us

We believe outdoor adventures should not just be activities, they should be experiences that stay with you. Experiences that make you proud of what you achieved, change how you see yourself and help you feel more connected to the land beneath your feet.

Wales has given us so much. Through ROC Adventure, we get to give something back by sharing it with you.

Ready to Join Us?

If you’re ready to explore the mountains, coastlines and wild places of Wales with guides who truly care, we’d love to adventure with you.
