Roc Outdoor Adventure can offer bespoke guided walking adventures throughout Wales, and can be for small or larger groups of up to 12.

Eryri (Snowdonia) really is the jewel in the crown of Wales. Whilst some mountains are hugely popular with hikers and climbers, Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and Tryfan especially, some other peaks are often ignored.

Arenig Fawr

Arenig Fawr (854m) rises above Llyn Celyn reservoir. In 1960 it created controversy when the village of Capel Celyn was flooded in order to supply water for Liverpool. At the summit you will find a memorial to American aircrew who died in a plane crash in 1943.

Yr Eifl

Yr Eifl (561m) it offers breath-taking views of the higher peaks in Eryri, Ynys Mon and on a good day the east coast of Ireland.

There are several routes to the summits, with paths leading from the nearby villages of Llithfaen, Llanaelhearn and Trefor.

Cnicht

Cnicht is 689 metres and deserves the nicknamed the 'Welsh Matterhorn' because of its pyramid-like appearance. It can be easily ascended from the nearby village of Croesor and offers stunning views of Yr Wyddfa, the coastline and many of Eryri's other spectacular mountains.

Moel Siabod

Moel Saibod (872m) has the nickname “The lonely mountain” due to its relative isolation. It rises above the villages of Dolwyddelan and Capel Curig. On a clear day it is possible to see almost all of the highest mountains in Wales from the summit.

Y Lliwedd

Y Lliwedd (898m) Despite forming part of the Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon Massif, Y Lliwedd is often ignored despite the spectacular views from the summit. The peak can be accessed via off both the Miner's Track and the Watkin Path.

Y Lliwedd is within the top 20 highest mountains in Wales. Its rugged and steep which makes in a real challenge.
